Why Canine Massage?
You may have never considered providing massage for your dog before. Suddenly your dog has experienced an inury, you suspect they are in pain or you have started seeing signs of arthiritis and aging and you find yourself researching holistic options for care. Massage can help with faster recovery times post-surgery /post injury and by maintaining muscles and joints to provide comfort and ease pain.  Even more important however is lifetime preventative care and maintenance. Providing regular therapeutic massage is far more effective for quality of life than dealing with an injury or age-related issues after-the-fact. And the good news is that  it’s never too early (or too late) to start!

* Canine massage should not be construed as a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis or treatment. Please be sure to see a veterinarian or other qualified medical specialist for any mental or physical ailments.

Nutrition is the foundation of health and healing for all living things. A good diet rich in essential nutrients has an enormous impact on longevity and quality of our lives.

As humans, we make choices about what, when and how often to eat. Our companion animals, on the other hand, are totally dependent upon us to make choices for them.

Most commercial pet foods consist of low cost, low quality, 100% processed, ingredients which are difficult to digest, leaving our pets undernourished and exposing them to an array of potetial ailments. It is no wonder that "mystery" conditions and degenerative diseases such as cancers, digestive disorders, bone joint problems, and skin/hair problems once found only in older animals are now appearing with greater frequency in younger animals.

Raw or natural whole food is a great way to put more species appropriate nutrients into your pet's diet. Even adding as little as 25% fresh food to your pet's diet can have significant health benefits:

-Reduction of pain and inflamation
-Alleviation of chronic allergy issues
- Healthier teeth and gums and fresh breath
(may eliminate the need for costly dental cleanings)
-Strengthening of immune system
-Elimination of gas and smelly stools
-Reduction in stool size and amount of stool (little to no waste since there are no added grains and extra carbohydrates)
-Benefits of weight loss without starvation for heavier dogs
- Diet can also influence their emotions and temperament

My focus on whole-body wellness, natural foods, and non-toxic supplements helps support your dog’s body to heal itself and / or live more comfortably.
